Integrated structural dampers from ACE secure rotary tables in loading units of furnaces, for example in the event of a power failure, incorrect operation or sabotage

Silicon wafers, which are used as starting products for solar cells, among other things, are manufactured in special furnaces. Optimum positioning of the wafers is a basic requirement for all manufacturing processes in the furnaces. A fully automated, software-controlled unit loads the ovens, some of which are well over 1,000 °C hot. To prevent manufacturing errors, rejects and damage to the overall structure, the linear modules and rotary table of the loading unit are additionally secured by ACE TUBUS TR-HD structural dampers in this example.
